To repair this wet crawlspace in Valparaiso, Indiana, Americrawl provided a complete moisture control and crawl space waterproofing solution. The project began with the removal of construction debris and unwanted materials to create a clean environment for repairs. Our team then installed 75 linear feet of crawlspace drainage and a high-performance sump pump system to collect and remove groundwater, helping keep the crawlspace dry year-round. To further protect the home from moisture, mold, and humidity, we encapsulated approximately 1,800 square feet with our CleanSpace® crawl space vapor barrier system and installed new insulation to improve energy efficiency and indoor comfort.
