Job completed for Ron B
Completion date: September 23, 1998
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Solutions provided:
The installation team completed the installation of 138 linear feet of AmeriDrain interior crawlspace drainage system along the foundation perimeter to effectively intercept groundwater intrusion and relieve hydrostatic pressure at the footing level. The drainage system was carefully positioned to ensure consistent water collection and proper flow toward the sump location, providing reliable moisture management throughout the crawlspace. To manage the collected water, one AmeriSump sump station was installed to efficiently collect and discharge groundwater away from the home through a dedicated exterior discharge line. The sump system was integrated with the drainage network to provide continuous protection against water accumulation beneath the structure. To further control ground moisture and humidity, 1,235 square feet of reinforced vapor barrier was installed across the crawlspace floor and sealed along foundation surfaces and penetrations to create a continuous moisture barrier. This system helps reduce moisture migration from the soil, protect structural components from humidity-related deterioration, and improve the overall crawlspace environment. Together, these improvements provide comprehensive water management and long-term protection for the home's foundation and structural framing.
