Job completed for BTREJV3 Indy
Completion date: May 15, 2014
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Solutions provided:
The installation team completed the installation of ten (10) wall anchor systems to stabilize and reinforce the bowing basement wall. Each anchor assembly consisted of an interior steel wall plate connected by a high-strength galvanized steel rod to an exterior earth anchor embedded in stable, undisturbed soil beyond the pressure zone of the foundation wall. The anchors were strategically spaced along the affected wall to evenly distribute lateral soil pressure and help prevent additional inward movement. Once installed, the systems were tightened and adjusted to provide immediate stabilization, with the potential for gradual wall straightening over time. This reinforcement method provides a durable, long-term solution for structurally compromised foundation walls while helping preserve the integrity and safety of the basement structure.
