To repair this wet crawlspace in Indianapolis, Americrawl installed a complete waterproofing and moisture control system designed to keep the area dry, healthy, and protected year-round. The project included a debris clean out to remove unwanted materials and improve crawlspace conditions before installation. A 189 linear foot interior drainage system was installed to capture groundwater and direct it to a high-performance sump pump with discharge line, helping prevent standing water and future moisture intrusion. The crawlspace access door was replaced to create a tighter seal against outside air and humidity, while 1,400 square feet of vapor barrier was installed to help control moisture, reduce mold concerns, and improve energy efficiency. The crawlspace was also treated with TimBor spray to help protect exposed wood framing from mold and wood-destroying organisms, creating a cleaner and healthier crawlspace environment for the homeowner.
