The installation team completed the installation of 128 linear feet of the AkwaGuard basement interior drainage system along the foundation perimeter to effectively intercept groundwater intrusion and relieve hydrostatic pressure before water can enter the basement. The system was carefully installed at the footing level within a perimeter trench to ensure consistent water collection and proper flow toward the sump location. To manage the collected water, one SuperSump sump station was installed to efficiently pump and discharge water away from the home through a dedicated exterior discharge line, providing reliable long-term basement waterproofing protection. In addition, drywall removal was completed in the affected basement areas to allow access for system installation and to remove moisture-damaged materials. This process helps prevent future mold or mildew concerns and prepares the space for any necessary repairs or refinishing. Together, these improvements provide effective water management and help restore a dry, protected basement environment.
