The installation team completed the installation of 104 linear feet of the AkwaGuard basement interior drainage system along the foundation perimeter to effectively intercept groundwater intrusion and relieve hydrostatic pressure before water can enter the basement. The system was installed at the footing level within a perimeter trench to ensure reliable water collection and proper flow toward the sump location. To manage the collected water, one SuperSump sump station was installed to efficiently pump and discharge water away from the home through a dedicated exterior discharge line. In addition, 4 linear feet of French drain was installed to help capture and redirect surface water away from the affected area, improving overall drainage performance around the foundation. Together, these components provide a comprehensive waterproofing and drainage solution designed to maintain a dry basement environment and protect the home from moisture-related issues.
