The installation team completed the installation of 52 linear feet of the AkwaGuard basement interior drainage system along the foundation perimeter to effectively intercept groundwater intrusion and relieve hydrostatic pressure before water can enter the basement. The system was installed at the footing level to ensure consistent water collection and proper flow toward the sump location. To manage the collected water, one AmeriSump sump station was installed to efficiently pump and discharge water away from the home through a dedicated exterior discharge line. Together, these components provide a reliable waterproofing solution that helps maintain a dry, protected basement environment and reduces the risk of water intrusion.
