Job completed for Jeff B.
Completion date: September 1, 1999
Location: Markle, IN
Solutions provided:
Our expert crew installed 136 linear feet of the AmeriDrain® interior crawlspace drainage system along the foundation perimeter to intercept groundwater intrusion and relieve hydrostatic pressure at the footing level. The system was carefully trenched and positioned to ensure continuous flow toward the sump location for effective water management. One AmeriSump® sump station was installed to collect the captured water and discharge it safely away from the home through a dedicated exterior discharge line, providing reliable protection against standing water and seepage.
To further control moisture, 1,286 square feet of reinforced vapor barrier was installed across the crawlspace floor and sealed along foundation walls and penetrations. This encapsulation layer helps prevent ground moisture from evaporating into the crawlspace, reduces overall humidity levels, and protects structural components from moisture-related deterioration. Together, these systems create a comprehensive solution designed to maintain a dry, stable, and healthier crawlspace environment while safeguarding the foundation long term.
