Our expert crew installed 88 linear feet of the AkwaGuard® basement interior drainage system along the foundation perimeter to effectively intercept groundwater and relieve hydrostatic pressure before moisture could enter the basement. The drainage channel was properly trenched and positioned at the footing level to ensure consistent water collection and positive flow toward the sump location. One AmeriSump® sump station was installed to collect and discharge the captured water safely away from the home through a dedicated discharge line.
To provide additional protection during power outages, one UltraSump® battery backup system was installed to ensure continued pump operation in the event of primary pump failure or electrical interruption. The project also included installation of 50 linear feet of exterior downspout extensions to direct roof runoff safely away from the foundation, reducing surface water accumulation near the home. Together, these components create a comprehensive water management system designed to improve reliability, minimize the risk of basement flooding, and maintain a dry, protected environment year-round.
