Our expert crew installed 72 linear feet of the AkwaGuard® basement interior drainage system along the affected foundation walls to effectively capture groundwater seepage and relieve hydrostatic pressure. The system was carefully trenched and positioned at the footing level to ensure consistent water collection and positive flow. The drainage line was then tied directly into the home’s existing sump station, allowing intercepted water to be efficiently discharged through the current pump and discharge assembly. This integration enhances the overall performance of the basement waterproofing system, reduces the risk of water intrusion, and supports a drier, more controlled basement environment.
