This project involves improving the health and functionality of the crawl space through drainage installation, moisture control, cleaning, and wood protection. Work includes installing 135 feet of AmeriDrain drainage matting to help manage ground moisture, followed by the installation of 1,065 square feet of CleanSpace vapor barrier to fully encapsulate the crawl space. The entire 1,065-square-foot area will be thoroughly cleaned out prior to encapsulation, including removal of debris and preparation of all surfaces. After cleaning, a Tim-bor borate treatment will be applied to all accessible wood components to help prevent fungus, rot, and wood-destroying insects. The completed system will create a cleaner, drier, and more protected crawl space environment.
