Job completed for Emily B.
Completion date: August 11, 2008
Location: Kokomo, IN
Solutions provided:
During this project, our team installed 28 linear feet of AkwaGuard basement drainage system along the affected section of the basement perimeter. The purpose of this installation was to manage groundwater seepage and protect the basement from moisture intrusion.
The new drainage line was tied into the homeowner’s existing sump station, which was inspected and confirmed to be operating properly. This integration allows for efficient water collection and discharge without the need for an additional sump system.
The installation process involved excavating a trench along the base of the foundation wall, installing the perforated drainage pipe and AkwaGuard channel, surrounding it with clean drainage stone, and then re-pouring concrete to restore the basement floor to a clean, finished appearance.
