Completion date: February 28, 2012
Location: Pittsboro, IN
Solutions provided:
This homeowner’s crawl space was upgraded with a complete waterproofing and protection system to eliminate moisture issues and improve air quality. Americrawl installed 143 feet of AmeriDrain Drainage System along the interior perimeter of the crawl space to effectively manage groundwater and prevent future flooding.
A SuperSump sump station was added to ensure reliable water removal and long-term protection from water intrusion. The area was then encapsulated with 1,025 square feet of CleanSpace liner, creating a clean, dry, and energy-efficient environment beneath the home.
To provide lasting protection against wood decay and mold growth, the entire area received a Timbor Spray treatment covering 1,025 square feet of exposed wood surfaces. The project was completed with the installation of a new steel crawl space access door, improving both durability and accessibility.
