Americrawl completed a structural reinforcement project that included the installation of 20 feet of new sill plate and a 15-foot steel I-beam set on a poured concrete footing.
The existing sill plate had suffered from wood decay and loss of structural support due to prolonged moisture exposure. Our team carefully removed the damaged section and replaced it with new treated lumber to restore the proper load-bearing capacity of the foundation wall.
To further stabilize the floor structure, a 15-foot steel I-beam was installed beneath the affected area. The beam was securely set on a new concrete footing, providing a strong, permanent base for the structure above.
