This basement had significant foundation issues, with walls beginning to bow inward due to hydrostatic pressure from the surrounding soil. To stabilize the structure and prevent further movement, our team installed 14 heavy-duty wall anchors along the bowing basement wall.
These anchors were driven deep into stable soil outside the foundation and secured to steel anchor plates inside the basement. This system applies constant, adjustable pressure to the wall, effectively halting inward movement and helping to gradually restore the wall to a straighter position.
