For this project, Americrawl completed a comprehensive crawlspace treatment focused on wood protection and moisture control. The team applied 1,505 square feet of Timbor spray to all exposed wood surfaces throughout the crawlspace. The Timbor treatment is a proven solution designed to prevent and control mold, mildew, and wood-destroying organisms such as fungi and insects. By penetrating deep into the wood fibers, it provides long-lasting protection against future decay and moisture-related damage.

For this crawlspace restoration project, the Americrawl team completed a comprehensive waterproofing and structural repair process that included 145 feet of AmeriDrain drainage system, 960 square feet of CleanSpace encapsulation, 46 feet of sill plate replacement, 3 sister joist reinforcements, and 1 full-length floor joist replacement. The AmeriDrain drainage system was installed along the interior perimeter of the crawlspace to efficiently capture and redirect groundwater to the sump station, preventing water buildup and long-term moisture issues. The CleanSpace encapsulation system was installed across 960 square feet of the crawlspace floor and walls, providing a durable vapor barrier to control humidity, prevent mold growth, and create a clean, dry environment. Structural integrity was also restored through 46 feet of sill plate replacement, 3 sister joist repairs, and 1 full-length floor joist replacement, ensuring the home’s foundation framing remains strong and stable.

Moisture & Encapsulation: Applied 890 square feet of CleanSpace vapor barrier to seal the crawl space floor and walls, reducing ground moisture and improving energy efficiency. Crawl Space Preparation: Completed fiberglass insulation removal to eliminate damaged, moisture-laden material that can harbor mold and pests. Mold & Wood Protection: Applied Timbor treatment to exposed wood surfaces, providing long-term protection against mold, mildew, and wood-destroying insects.

This crawl space project included the installation of 156 linear feet of AmeriDrain drainage system to effectively manage groundwater and prevent moisture intrusion. Additionally, we installed two SuperSump® sump pump systems for maximum water removal and protection against flooding. To further control humidity and protect the structure, we installed 760 square feet of durable 6-mil vapor barrier across the crawl space floor. This barrier helps with reducing moisture and minimizing the risk of mold growth.
