This durable liner seals the ground and walls, helping prevent humidity, mold, and structural damage, while providing a brighter, cleaner crawl space.

This project included a comprehensive crawl space improvement plan to address water intrusion, moisture control, and accessibility. Our team installed 65 linear feet of AmeriDrain Drainage System to effectively channel groundwater and prevent water accumulation within the crawl space. This high-performance drainage system ensures long-term protection against moisture damage and helps maintain a dry, stable foundation. To further enhance moisture control, we applied a 6-mil vapor barrier across the crawl space floor, creating a protective seal that reduces humidity and helps prevent mold and wood rot. The entire crawl space was thoroughly cleaned out, removing all debris, old insulation, and organic materials that could contribute to future issues. Additionally, we installed a Turtle Crawl Space Access System, providing a secure, weather-resistant, and low-maintenance entry point. This access door is designed for durability, improving both the functionality and energy efficiency of the crawl space.

Americrawl provided a complete crawlspace repair solution to address moisture concerns in a customer’s home. Our trained crew began with the installation of a crawlspace drainage system designed to capture excess groundwater and direct it away from the foundation. This prevents standing water, reduces the risk of mold, and protects the overall stability of the home’s foundation.

 

After the drainage system was in place, we installed a heavy-duty crawlspace encapsulation system. Using a durable vapor barrier, the encapsulation process sealed off the ground and walls to stop moisture, humidity, and outside air from entering the crawlspace. This clean and controlled environment helps prevent musty odors, protects structural wood, and improves indoor air quality throughout the home.

 

For added protection, our technicians applied Timbor treatment to exposed wooden components. This product provides long-lasting protection against fungi, helping to maintain the strength and integrity of the crawlspace structure.
