The entire 1,065-square-foot area will be thoroughly cleaned out prior to encapsulation, including removal of debris and preparation of all surfaces. After cleaning, a Tim-bor borate treatment will be applied to all accessible wood components to help prevent fungus, rot, and wood-destroying insects. The completed system will create a cleaner, drier, and more protected crawl space environment.

To control ground moisture, 1,336 square feet of vapor barrier will be installed across the entire crawl-space floor. Seams and edges will be overlapped and sealed to create a continuous moisture shield. For wood protection and long-term pest prevention, 1,336 square feet of Tim-bor treatment will be applied to exposed framing and surfaces. This borate-based treatment helps prevent wood decay, mold, and wood-destroying insects.
