This project consists of installing a comprehensive CleanSpace encapsulation system across 2,250 square feet of crawl-space area. Work includes cleaning and preparing the space, addressing any debris or surface irregularities, and installing the CleanSpace vapor barrier to create a fully sealed moisture-controlled environment. The encapsulation system will help protect the home from humidity, mold growth, and vapor intrusion while improving overall energy efficiency and long-term structural performance. Upon completion, the crawl space will be cleaner, drier, and significantly better protected against moisture-related issues.

This project involves performing a full cleanout and installing a CleanSpace encapsulation system across 465 square feet of crawl space. The scope includes removing debris and organic material, preparing the area for moisture control, and installing the CleanSpace vapor barrier system to create a sealed, controlled environment. As part of the encapsulation, six foundation piers will be fully wrapped to ensure continuous moisture protection and long-term durability. Upon completion, the crawl space will be cleaner, drier, and better protected against humidity, mold, and structural deterioration.

For this structural repair project, our team installed a 10-foot, 4-inch steel I-beam to provide added support and leveling for the home’s floor system. The beam was carefully placed beneath the existing floor joists to restore proper alignment and structural stability. To support the new beam, three SmartJack adjustable steel support posts were installed. These posts were set on engineered footings to ensure long-term strength and stability, allowing for precise height adjustments to correct any sagging or uneven floors. Prior to installation, approximately 100 square feet of soil was excavated within the crawlspace to create the necessary clearance for the beam and support system.

The project included 128 linear feet of our AkwaGuard basement drainage system, carefully placed along the perimeter to capture and redirect groundwater before it could enter the basement. This system ensures that water is collected efficiently and carried away from the foundation, keeping the basement dry. To complete the system, we installed one SuperSump sump pump station. The SuperSump provides powerful, reliable pumping performance and peace of mind for the homeowner, ensuring that collected water is quickly and effectively removed from the property.

Our team successfully completed a full crawl space waterproofing and protection project that addressed both water management and structural preservation needs. The scope of work included the installation of 170 feet of AmeriDrain drainage system, designed to capture groundwater efficiently and direct it away from the home’s foundation. To ensure proper water removal, we installed one SuperSump sump pump system, which provides reliable performance for long-term protection. For moisture and air quality control, we encapsulated the entire crawl space with 1,616 square feet of CleanSpace vapor barrier, creating a durable and sealed environment that prevents humidity, mold growth, and musty odors. To further protect all exposed wooden components, we applied 1,616 square feet of Timbor treatment spray, safeguarding the structural integrity of the floor system from wood decay and pest activity. Additionally, we installed a 40-foot discharge line extension to efficiently direct water away from the home, reducing the risk of water pooling around the foundation.

To control water intrusion, our team installed the AmeriDrain® interior drainage system along the crawl space perimeter. This system directs groundwater to the sump pump and discharges away from the foundation, keeping the space dry even during the rainy season. A polyethylene vapor barrier was then installed across the crawl space floor to reduce ground moisture. The barrier was laid with overlapping seams, secured around piers, and anchored in place. Finally, the entire crawl space’s exposed wood surfaces were treated with Tim-bor®, a borate-based solution that helps prevent mold growth, wood decay, and damage from wood-destroying insects. This step provides long-term protection for critical structural components like floor joists, beams, and sill plates.
